Coffee and Cards

Here's one of the cards we made at my Coffee and Cards Stamp Camp last week.  I knew that I would use the Coffee Break Suite often since Starbuck's gift cards are the teacher gift of choice in our house.  I think I'll be referring to Garden Green as Starbuck's Green from now on....but I guess that would be copyright infringement or something:)

Got the idea for this card above from a card in the 2017-18 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog on page 80.  Do you see the 4 different DSP pieces in the sample below?

Love what you see and think you'll use this suite as much as me?  Place an order today via my online store!

When life gives you lemons...

...chuck them right back!

Rewind to the end of June when it seemed like I just couldn't catch a break...broken air conditioning in my car AND at home with a heatwave, the pool not working so couldn't cool off there, basement flooding (with the sewer back-up no less...yuck!), rain after each time we stained part of the deck (which is a long process since we have A LOT of deck) and gallbladder surgery (that had quite a longer recovery time than I anticipated).   I made this canvas art by "case-ing" a card in the new 2017-18 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog on page 90 to channel my frustrations into something creative.  This photo does not do Lemon Lime Twist justice!  It's a new In Color and the one that I thought I would never really use, but it has become a favorite color of mine!

CASED it!

Here's my take on a card that was originally featured in our Stampin' Up! Demonstrator quarterly magazine Stampin' Success.  The original card is below...it was love at first sight for me:)  I swapped out the stamp set and used the Avant Garden Sale-a-Bration offering.  I also used some current washi tape and colors...use what you have...be creative! When you CASE you "copy and share everything!" It's hard to sit down and come up with something of your own off the bat.  We all need inspiration!

Stampin' Success magazine is just one of the benefits of being a SU! Demonstrator.  Have you ever thought about joining and saving 20% on ALL of your purchases from Stampin' Up!  The INK Crowd is my group of demonstrators...we are gathering on February 2 to share and inspire.  Contact me if you'd like to join us for the night and see what it's all about!

Love Valentines

It's time to make valentines!  I was inspired by this cute valentine box by Kim Van Diepen.  We made these cards at my Sale-a-Bration Club meeting yesterday.  You know, projects always evolve...that's why there's three versions in the photo...and I'm so indecisive as well:)  I have to say...I am now a fan of the enamel shapes.  You just gotta try 'em, you'll start putting them on everything!  Do you see them on that card at the top?

Had to give you a close-up of the Early Espresso version because you couldn't see the lace stamped in the background.  And you can't really see the Wink of Stella shimmer on the "love" image...it adds just a bit of glimmer.  It's there, really!
