Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Designer Series Paper

Welcome to the Paper Crafting Blog Hop! Our August 2022 blog hop includes Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world...including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia! Get ready to be wowed by a variety of creative projects and design styles! You may have arrived from Annettes's Blog...I hope you were inspired by her project!

Our projects this month focus on Designer Series Paper...one of my absolute favs to create with! Below is the card that I created using the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper as a backdrop for the sentiment and images from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.

I also used my favorite embellishment...the Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. I love the touch of gold with the black, white, and autumnal colors!

Thanks for following our blog hop this month! Next up is Tracy's project! Enjoy hopping around!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Charming Sentiments

Welcome to the Paper Crafting Blog Hop! Our July 2022 blog hop includes Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world...including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia! Get ready to be wowed by a variety of creative projects and design styles! You may have arrived from Annettes's Blog...I hope you were inspired by her project!

We are featuring cards that provide encouragement this month. Below is the card that I created with the Charming Sentiments Bundle, Adventurous Journey stamp set, and Lovely in Linen Designer Series Paper.

>With July being World Watercolor Month, I had to add a watercolored element and the row boat was a good option. After stamping the boat with Saddle Brown StazOn ink, I used watercolor pencils to outline the edges of the boat and the different sections of the floor. A touch of water with my Water Painter softened the color. I typically use Stampin' Blends, so this was a challenge for me!

I did fussy cut the boat and the oar, but I used the dies for the sentiment! That's what I love about the Charming Sentiments Bundle...fussy cutting made easy!

Paper-Crafting Blog Hop: Cottage Rose

Welcome to the Paper Crafting Blog Hop! Our JUNE 2022 blog hop includes Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world...including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia! Get ready to be wowed by a variety of creative projects and design styles! You may have arrived from Annettes's Blog...I hope you were inspired by her project!

We are featuring SYMPATHY cards this month. Below is the card that I created with the Cottage Rose Bundle, Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper, and Peaceful Moments stamp set.

I prefer a simple card when I need a sympathy card for two reasons:

1. It usually gets mailed and I want to make sure it gets there with no issues.

2. It's not necessarily the time for an elaborate card.
