So very proud of these young ladies...Ashlyn and Katrina! This Little Miss organized an amazing event for our community on Make a Difference Day just a couple of weeks ago. Lots of family fun with crafts, making scarfs to donate, and of course...hand-made birthday cards! We helped with Miss Katrina's Call to Care initiative by crafting birthday cards for homeless & foster children.
I'm always looking for ways to Craft for a Cause and give back to our communities. Next up is
World Kindness Day on Saturday, November 13, 2021. The purpose of
World Kindness Day as outlined by the World Kindness Movement is “to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us.” It is a day devoted to the positive potential of both large and small acts of kindness.

Hand-made cards are needed for this initiative "to get handmade cards to people who are in need of an emotional boost, a smile, or a helping hand". Thinking of You, Happy Hello, and general non-specific sentiment are the greatest cards in need. Feel free to drop off your cards to me or send your own!
