A little Mid-Century Abstract with Sunshine Vibes!

Are you a fan of mid-century abstract art?

I love how this geometric design turned out! It was easy to make this card with the half moons from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set! Poppy Parade. Old Olive, Lost Lagoon, and Pool Party made a great color combo with a subtle Basic Beige backdrop. What do YOU see in the shapes?

And just a touch of embellishment with the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots!

You know, sometimes a specific colored embellishment can work for another color, so don't be scared to try one that doesn't "technically" match the ink color you're using!

The Boho Vibes Suite is one of my favorites, but I wanted to use an alternate color combination than the one featured in the Designer Series Paper. Here are some other samples created by Stampin' Up! artists! Click on photos to get the supplies.

Merry Bold & Bright

Love that this Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper can be used for Christmas and for cheery Birthday Cards too! It's featured in the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog on page 9 with a Christmas stamp set and bundle called Merry & Bright. Although I didn't use this bundle for these projects, it is a super-fun bundle.

So THIS PAPER! The A-side has you guessed it...bold & bright holiday images and the flip side (as we say, the B-side) has bold & bright dots and stripes. I KNEW it would make fabulous birthday cards! I paired up this DSP with the new Heartfelt Hexagon Punch for quick and easy cards.

I used the Biggest Wish stamp set for the focal point. Stamped it in Blueberry Bushel and fussy cut with my paper snips. I actually love the splatter that came off the sentiment when I stamped it...can you see it? Sometimes a "juicy" ink pad will oversaturate the stamp and that may happen so "tap, tap, tap" the stamp lightly on the ink pad. The Crushed Curry layers behind the HAPPY BIRTHDAY were made with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch! And of course, a touch of my favorite embellishments...Adhesive-Backed Sequins!

Using one of my current go-to colors, Lemon Lime Twist, for the card base, I layered a bunch of punched-out pieces of the DSP onto another layer of the Lemon Lime Twist. The new So Sincere stamp set includes a wonderful variety of sentiments and most of them fit in the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch! The White Iridescent Ribbon tied around the top layer makes it look like a present, don't you think? And the Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs add the sparkle!

Garden Walk Throughout the Year

You may already know how much I love the Garden Walk Designer Series Paper. How could you not since you can use it throughout the whole year!
