We are featuring SYMPATHY cards this month. Below is the card that I created with the Cottage Rose Bundle, Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper, and Peaceful Moments stamp set.

I prefer a simple card when I need a sympathy card for two reasons:  

1.  It usually gets mailed and I want to make sure it gets there with no issues.

2.  It's not necessarily the time for an elaborate card.

Time for a Tea Party!

Last night I hosted a virtual Tea Party Catalog Kick-off and the project above was one of the projects we made during our online class.  The Tea Boutique Suite is one of my favorite suites!  I love the new 2022-2024 In Colors and they are featured in this collection of products.  Scroll down to see the supplies used for this card.

Card Measurements/Elements and Instructions:

·                  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Sweet Sorbet Cardstock

·                  5” x 3-3/4” Sweet Sorbet Cardstock (embossed with Timeworn Type embossing folder)                 

·                  Petal Pink DSP scalloped rectangle (from Tea Boutique DSP)

·                  Starry Sky teacup & Orchid Oasis overlay (adhere Adhesive Sheet to card stock before die-cutting)

·                  Tea Boutique DSP teacup

·                  Lemon wedge, hearts, and teabag tag

 

1.      Fold card base and adhere embossed piece.

2.     Build the Starry Sky cup by peeling the backing off the Orchid Oasis overlay and adhere to solid cup being careful to get the bits punched out.  Do the same with the lemon wedge.

3.      Choose a pattern for the other teacup and adhere one end of twine to the back, bring the twine around to the front and attach the teabag tag to the other end of twine (trimming twine as needed).

4.     Adhere the pattern teacup towards the top of the scalloped piece.  Attach the Starry Sky cup, lemon wedge, and tag with Dimensionals.

5.      Attach scalloped rectangle with Dimensionals to card front and add hearts.

Attendees were treated to some tea-party treats!

Over Zoom we ooh'ed and aah'ed over the  Annual Catalog together and made our two cards.  I am thankful for my fellow demonstrators who shared ideas using the Tea Boutique Suite at our annual Stampin' Up! On Tour event, which helped me provide a fun experience for my stampers!
