I love the Sale-a-Bration Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper! And when you pair it with the coordinating Pierced Blooms Dies you get a beautiful stitched effect!
This Fun Fold card is called a Slide and Lock Gate Fold card. It's actually pretty simple to create! I have some how-to tips and photos below, but you can see me making the Slide and Lock Fun Fold during my Tuesday Night Stampin' Club Facebook Live from earlier this week on my @SimplySheStamps page.
Slide and Lock Gate Fold instructions:
To create the "locking" mechanism, you'll need four 2-1/2" squares in Basic White cardstock. Take two of them and score in half at 1-1/4" and fold. Now you'll make a sandwich. Lay a square down. Adhere one side of a folded square, with the fold in the center of the "sandwich" and the long edge flush with the edge of the first square. Take the other folded square, add adhesive to one side, and adhere to the bottom square making sure that the fold is flush with the other fold in the center.
To make the Gate Fold: cut your cardstock to 4-1/4" x 11" and score at 2-3/4" from each short side. Fold those towards the center to create your card base. Adhere Paper Blooms DSP panels (4" x 2-1/2") to each side of the front of the card. SLIDE the LOCKING mechanism (a.k.a. the sandwich) down the center of the card so that the edges of the card base are between the top and bottom layers of the sandwich.

Being a seamstress and avid crafter, I do adore the stitched effect of the Pierced Blooms Dies! Can you see the difference between the two cards above? The top one has fussy-cut flowers and the other used the Pierced Blooms Dies.
Here are the other cards I featured during Tuesday Night Stampin' Club using the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper and the In Bloom Bundle, which includes the In Bloom stamp set and Pierced Blooms Dies.
If you purchase the In Bloom Bundle, you're so close to receiving the DSP for FREE as a Sale-a-Bration reward! See below for more information about Sale-a-Bration and all the supplies used to create these cards.
I used more of the Paper Blooms paper to die-cut the bloom and leaves. It uses the sheet that has watercolored circles made specifically to die-cut Pierced Blooms...and more! I am so very happy that the dies include a beautiful label for greetings. This card to the left includes Denim Ribbon, Seaside Spray cardstock, and our new Basic White cardstock. This one was inspired by a project designed by one of Stampin' Up!'s concept artists.
This card to the right is cased from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure. The blooms are die-cut from Shimmery White cardstock, but my photo doesn't do the shimmer justice....it looks a bit pearl-like in person. The addition of some Whale of a Time sequins adds some more sparkle. And yes, the cute paper bow is a die that is included in the Pierced Blooms Dies.
