The Grant Township community members made over 150 valentine cards for our local vets in the Fox
Lake Area and the Midwest Veterans Closet Valentines 4 Vets event! Find out more about this organization here: www.midwestveteranscloset.org
We used extras of last year's valentine paper, stamps, and Paper Pumpkin to make quick and easy cards so we could spend time writing messages of appreciation and gratitude to veterans.
These young ladies from the Lake County Scholarship Program were a HUGE help in boxing up chocolates and helping the attendees with card-making! And with clean up too!
Our Junior Miss Fox Lake Area traded her crown for a scrap bin just for a bit!
And our Miss, Teen, and Little Fox Lake Area Queens delivered the valentines
to our local American Legion chapter in Fox Lake.
A BIG thank you to all that came out to help so our
community could spread some love and appreciation!
