This bold & bright card was one of my Backstage swaps using the new Warmest Heart stamp set from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog. It was inspired by a card I received from my demo friend Beth of Beth's Paper Cuts. I love the color block technique! It is a fun-fold card too!
To make the bookbinding layout...
- Blueberry Bushel card base cut to 4-1/4" x 11" and score at 5-1/2" and 4-3/8"
- Granny Apple cars tock 1-3/4" x 4"
- Poppy Parade cardstock 2-1/4" x 1-3/4"
- Crushed Curry cardstock 2-1/8" x 2-1/4"
My tip was to save those 1/2” strips of leftover cardstock to stamp your sentiments on! When you have a dark-colored card base and you need to add a white or vanilla layer on the inside (4 x 5-1/4”) you’ll have 1/2” strips leftover. I store mine in a small basket on my desktop…that’s overflowing right now!
