Bright Pink Bouquet of Hope Fundraiser

We lost my sister Lucy to breast cancer last February.  She was a talented artist and very crafty.  We loved to craft together and share crafting ideas. When the Bouquet of Hope February Paper Pumpkin Kit was revealed, it was the perfect opportunity to offer this kit as a fundraising event for Bright Pink. I learned about Bright Pink through my fraternity Zeta Tau Alpha’s philanthropy efforts as we partner to educate our communities about breast cancer prevention and early detection. 

The kit’s exclusive Bouquet of Hope Stamp Set features supportive sentiments centered around comfort, care, hope, and love. Such a versatile stamp set can be used throughout the year. We all know someone who could use a heartfelt, handmade card that gives strength during a difficult time.

Why I LOVE Paper Pumpkin

 One reason is GIFT COORDINATION!

I couldn’t pass up these cute firefly cookies since they coordinated with July’s Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin kit.  My neighbors were grateful for the cute treat.  And I can’t wait to gift some “Golden Apple” awards to some World’s Greatest teachers too!  That was the timely August kit that I had fun playing with earlier this week.

Celebrating the end of summer with Summer Nights and yummy cookies.

And here are my projects from the August World's Greatest Paper Pumpkin kit.  Another reason I love Paper Pumpkin is that it gets me started crafting which then gets the creative juices flowing.  It's hard to come up with an idea without some kind of inspiration.  I cut the patterned card bases in half and adhered to coordination colored cardstock so I could make the most of the pretty paper. 

You may notice that I ran out of the vellum accents from the kit, so I had to make some more of my own.  The Wreath Builder Dies worked beautifully.

And here I used one of the leftover pieces to make another shaker card

...waste not, want not.  I used the Sequins for Everything in the 

August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.
