Why you need Stella...

 Here's one of the make-n-takes from my big celebration last weekend.  It features the Lift Me Up bundle from the new Occasions Catalog and the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP stack too!  Yes, I was inspired from the cover of the catalog...why totally reinvent the wheel.

I've heard before about all the benefits crafting has to your brain.  And "mistakes" are just opportunities to problem-solve.  I did just that last weekend.

Can you see the shimmer on the balloon in the above photo?  It's really beautiful in real life and you can't even notice it in the first photo above.  That's a Wink of Stella!

I was a little messy with my glue when I was putting the balloon thinlit overlay on top of the sponged balloon background.  So I just covered it up with some clear Wink of Stella!  Just in the portions that had the glue spots...I accented some parts of the balloon, not the whole thing.

Merry Christmas Wishes to All!

Another card from my Stamp-a-Stack class.  Though very simple, it's very striking I think.  My colleagues and I will be making this one at my school for a service project.  We'll be sending the cards we make to the local assisted living homes...they are very grateful, and quite honestly, surprised that someone would like to do so!  Why not make a few extra cards this year and drop them by your local assisted living homes?

Cold hands?

Here is one of the cards we made at my Stamp-a-Stack this past weekend.  Isn't she just so cute!  We used the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set, coordinating punch, and sparkly accessories for that icy look.  Check out the colors I used below.  LOVE the Cableknit Embossing Folder and especially with my new favorite color: Sweet Sugarplum!  This supplies are featured in the 2016 Holiday Catalog.

Yes, this card is CASED (a.k.a. copied and shared).  Here is the inspiration from one of my favorite fellow Demonstrators I follow: Julie's Stamping Spot  We all need to be inspired sometimes:)
