April Showers for the Stampin' Blends Club creates May Flowers projects!  So very sad that the Stampin' Blends aren't available for purchase right now due to their popularity (backorder/unorderable status), but so grateful that I was able to get sets for my club members in two very versatile colors....Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.  Although I had to change my original plans for club projects (the April showers), I'm very happy with the new projects albeit late (hence the May flowers).

OnStage Swap and Surprise!

So happy that this Beautiful Day stamp set will be in the upcoming Stampin' Up! 2018-19 Annual Catalog!  Two large images and greetings in a beautiful font.  Love to watercolor?  The rose and butterfly are perfect images to create focal points.  I used the Daffodil Stampin' Blend to add highlights to the flower that I had stamped on Delightful Daffodil card stock.  Did the same for the leaf on Old Olive, cut it out, and adhered to the Stiched-square layer.

I used this card as my "swap" at the recent Milwaukee OnStage event.  It was a training event for Demonstrators and I got to see a lot of friends I haven't seen in years!  And we were so lucky to have Shelli Gardener, the co-founder of Stampin' Up! as our host for the day...what an amazing surprise for us!

Here's the second card from the Blends Club for March.  Using the Sale-a-Bration Epic Celebrations stamp set.  Think I may have to use this for graduation cards this year!

I am lovin' the Pick a Pattern Washi tape!  Normally I don't use very much of the washi tape because I'm usually at a loss on how to add it to cards unless I'm CASEing something...which is typical of me:)  The Pick a Pattern washi tape works so well with the "grunge-like" Epic Celebration set.  Can't wait to find other projects to use it on!

Epic Celebration!

First card for my Stampin’ Blends club March projects.  Loved how it turned out!  Can you see the mini sequins trim behind the headset?  Also lovin’ the black and white Pick a Pattern Washi tape!  I was inspired by this post from Patty Bennett using the Watercolor Wash background stamp over the Brick Wall embossed card stock.

Used the Epic Celebrations Sale-a-Bration stamp set and the Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to get the shaded watercolor look.  The Blends are so popular that the supply has been depleted until May!  Club Members never fear...I have a plan.  Check back soon for card #2 for March and all the supplies for both projects.  Follow me (sign up to the right) and you’ll be notified when it’s posted.
