Almost there!

I can't even remember how long it's been since I had to move out of my stamp room due to a deteriorating ceiling...which was later discovered to be due to a roof leak, not a leaky pipe or vent as we first thought.  It HAS to be over a year since I've held stamp camp and clubs in my stamp room.  And with my supplies in two different locations, I've been getting my exercise going back and forth from stamp room to office or kitchen table...not very efficient though!

Roof shingles attached.  Ceiling patched and painted...yes, the WHOLE ceiling had to be painted...what a pain in the neck...literally:)  Walls painted...I finished the paint touch up on the walls shown above this morning.  I must say, the paint blended so nicely that you can't even tell where I had to touch up...yay!  Just need to finish up cleaning up the dust, supplies, and garbage and I'll be moving back in by tomorrow!

Birthday in the Garden

Here's one of the cards from my Stamp-a-Stack class a couple of weeks ago.  We focused on watercoloring and used the Garden In Bloom  2-step stamp set to get a watercolored look without actually watercoloring with a brush.  Yes, it was a fast and simple card!  It was fun to use a couple of the new 2016-18 In Colors...Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach!  And that Stylized Birthday stamp is definitely going to be my go-to-greeting this summer!

Cake Time!

Boy oh boy...I wish I had my Balloon Punch!  It's so popular that it's backordered...but it will be worth the wait.  For now,  I need to make my cards without my balloons punched out.  That's OK...I'm being creative:)

Here's my first card from my Party Pants kit.  I used the Triple Banner Punch for the three banners with 1", 1.5" and 2" widths.  You'll see I used a bit of Cherry on Top DSP and washi tape, as well as a cute little staple.  Check out the Party Pants Kit post below for the basics and the other accessories in this post.
