Cherry Blossoms Bloom

With the upcoming retirement of Rococo Rose, I knew I wanted to use the color with my beloved cherry blossoms from the Forever Blossoms stamp set.  And it's the perfect time to create these projects since actual cherry blossoms are getting ready to bloom soon!

The projects in my video were inspired by samples made from the awesome concept artists at Stampin' Up! last year when this set debuted.  I changed up a few elements to create my cards.  I hope you're inspired!

Be sure to scroll down to see the list of supplies used.

You can watch my Facebook Live video to see how I colored these blooms and as well as another card in which I used the watercolor pencils.

The card below was what I made after filming.  I typically keep stamping after my weekly video since the creative juices get flowing!

Don't forget that your purchase of any butterfly products during the month

of March will be part of my current Craft for a Cause initiative.

Your participation will help me in raising funds to plant wildflowers in The Woodland Walk at Raven Glen Forest Preserve, which is a specified quarter-mile walk that is dedicated to all children and siblings who have left us too soon.  The Northern Lake County Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, in partnership with the Lake County Forest Preserve District, is working toward restoring the wooded walk with trees, shrubs, flowers, and benches.  For each planting that is dedicated to an individual, an engraved nameplate will be added to the plaque " Our Children Remembered".  My goal is to raise enough funds to have five nameplates for the five families that I personally know who have lost a little angel.

When you purchase any of the items from the Butterfly Brillance Collection (or any current Butterfly stamp set/punch/die), I will donate 20% of the sale to the Woodland Walk Memorial. Scroll down to see the items available and please use the Host Code shown here.
