Sweet Ice Cream With Sprinkles on Top!

Lovin' the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set for fun birthday cards! I think a DQ gift card would be the perfect treat to put inside! As you may know, I love DSP...Designer Series Paper! It's so simple to pull together a great project with DSP as a starting point. Use the colors from the paper for your ink choices, choose from quite a few designs for layering & elements, and even cut out a focal image for your card. The Ice Cream Corner DSP is a perfect scoop!

The greeting on my card is stamped in Blackberry Bliss and Terracotta Tile on a 1" x 4-1/4" strip of Basic White, with one punched end and diagonal trim on the other to line up along the DSP layer. The Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles adhered with liquid glue add a li'l something to the card.

My friend watching my LIVE video helped me decide which colors and patterns to use for my tag below. It was so fun to have an interactive demonstration! You'll notice the super-cute mini popsicle sticks that I happened to have on hand since my daughter ordered 150 of them thinking they were the normal size...but that's OK...because in miniature is just so cute!

The Northern Lake County Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, in partnership with the Lake County Forest Preserve District, is working toward restoring the wooded walk with trees, shrubs, flowers, and benches. For each planting that is dedicated to an individual, an engraved nameplate will be added to the plaque " Our Children Remembered". My goal is to raise enough funds to have five nameplates for the five families that I personally know who have lost a little angel.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop - Hearts & Kisses

Welcome to the first Paper Crafting Blog Hop of the new year! Our January 2021 blog hop features Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world! Here's mine! I was inspired by the Pop Art painting project my daughter has been working on for school. I mixed products from three different suites....I know, kinda daring, right?

The sprinkles on the lips were inspired by one of my team members who is also a cookie decorator. And I love the word bubbles...c'est si jolie!

Even though the Snail Mail Designer Series paper is made with Real Red, I did use Poppy Parade for the lips to coordinate better with the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles. Also, the lips were stamped off and brushed with some Wink of Stella.

Are you stamping valentines yet? They'll be MUCH appreciated this year I'm sure! It's not too late to create and get them in the "Snail Mail"!
